GTA Mzansi for PC - Grand Theft Auto's sprawling universe continues its relentless expansion with this latest entry that takes you on an immersive virtual journey through South Africa's varied terrain and culture - while keeping its trademark humor and satire. Furthermore, this game addresses important social issues as well as providing a deeper experience than previous entries in its series.
Hard to believe, but this marks the first time the franchise has ventured into online play. Players connect through an in-game phone to connect to other players for various jobs like deathmatch, last team standing, and races. Player-created heists allow two or three players to drive out to an airfield, clear it of enemy planes, while one player steals and flies away their aircraft. Even better are player-made heists which allow two or three drivers out on an airfield and clear out enemies while one steals and takes off with their aircraft!
Los Santos offers plenty of offline activities as you explore its vibrant subcultures: freeways and plate tectonics, Philip K. Dick and gang warfare, bikinis with Jurassic technology, tar pits with pornographic material, and Scientology-themed cinema. Rockstar's impressive graphics engine ensures all this feels real - its detail, colors, and textures - all at 60 frames per second even on high-end PCs.
At first, it's hard to believe the entire system even works at all; GTA III struggled to adapt technically for PC but, after months of testing and animal sacrifices, has finally arrived on PC and runs beautifully - everything from its excellent mouse-and-keyboard control system through visual fidelity enhancements and atmospheric effects runs seamlessly.
